With a diploma in pharmacy one can secure a job in major hospitals across the country. One area that earns many pharmacists a lot of money is going into private practise. That is, opening a chemist. Most pharmacists make a lot of money by operating their own chemists.
The profit margins in pharmacy are quite wide. In some products, a pharmacist can make more that 120% profit; a super normal profit is the right descriptive term for such a profit margin. Very few retail businesses can give you such a profit margin. Even the big super markets cannot make more than 50% profits on most of the producs in their shelves.
Pharmacy requires an individual to know a thing or two about the Pharmacy and Poisons Board and the license requirements. So, to start off in the right direction, it is important to go a college that is approved by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board. A college that is known by employers and everybody else in the health sciences
